Vision
for Connect Groups and community in Destiny Church Dublin
The Bible tells us God himself is a community of Father, Son and Spirit
and he created us in his image and calls us to be like him. The first
apostles and Christians were known for their love for one another and
caring community. Therefore Community Groups are essential to the
mission of Destiny Church Dublin. In light of our iblical
convictions
that community is a critical part of the life and growth of a believer,
and a crucial part of our life and maturity in God, we want to see
everyone living out their faith in a Community Group. Community Groups
are a primary place for discipleship and growth to take place as well
as for support and pastoral care. You will also play a huge part in
determining the legacy of Destiny Church and transforming our city.
What
are Connect Groups?
Connect Groups are the heartbeat of Destiny Church. Connect Groups are
a great way for you to get to know other people and build great
relationships at the heart of our Church family. Sharing a coffee,
praying for each other and discussing the application of the Word to
our day-to-day lives; it’s all about authentic relationships
We have a network of connect groups for everyone. Feel free to visit a
couple of connect groups before choosing one that you feel comfortable
attending.

to find a connect group?
You can search for a connect group in your area, using our new Connect
Group page.
Click the link below the individual group and you will be able to send
an email direct to the leader who will contact you immediately and help
you to attend the group.
What
should I expect when I go?
Each Group is unique as the group reflects the people,
however, you can expect a weekly gathering that involves Tea/coffee
refreshments, conversation, prayer, discussion for appling the Bible to
practical living, and service in the neighbourhood. Community Groups
are an environment for building relationships with one another,
challenging one another to take God’s Word deeply into our
